FRACTIONAL LASER RESURFACING

It is important that your skin is well prepared prior to an Emerge Fractional Treatment with the use of medical grade skincare. This involves a prescribed cleanser, topical antioxidants like Vitamin B and C serums, hyaluronic acid and safe hyaluronic acid based moisturisers. You must conscientiously wear good quality micronised zinc/titanium based sun blocks and ONLY use medical grade mineral makeup. We have a range of medical grade skin care products and makeup that we recommend our patients use before and after their treatment. Failure to follow pre and post care may result in treatment complications, so be sure to disclose your skincare program properly with your treating Aesthetician.

Most EMERGE™ treatments last no more than an hour. Depending on the skin condition being treated, your Aesthetician may recommend a single treatment session or a series of progressive treatments for the best result.
Following some EMERGE™ treatments you may resume your regular activities on the same day; more aggressive procedures may require several days of healing. Ask your Aesthetician what you can expect from your treatment. Always follow your pre and post care instructions extremely carefully. Most people feel minimal discomfort during and after treatment. In some cases, your Aesthetician may recommend mild pain management options during the procedure and/or for a few days following the treatment. You can expect to experience a temporary redness, warmth and swelling at the treatment site, which typically lasts only a few days. In other cases, some post-care wound management may be necessary for a few days following treatment. Your Aesthetician will discuss the potential side effects and your post-treatment expectations with you.
